Jai Raj Ispat Limited launches new TMT bars

Kurnool: Jai Raj Ispat Limited, one of South India’s leading steel manufacturing companies, known for its high-quality TMT bars and structural steel products, has announced the launch of its flagship product, Jai Raj ‘ATOOT Fe 550 D TMT Bars’.

Engineered to meet the evolving demands of modern high-rise and infrastructure projects as well as to offer the best quality to individual home builders, ATOOT represents a significant leap in structural integrity and seismic safety.

Jai Raj Ispat Ltd., Kurnool, is the second primary steel producer in Andhra Pradesh and is among the few primary steel plants in India adopting an advanced steel-making process. The plant has an installed capacity of 0.50 million tonnes per annum. The management plans to double this capacity by 2026-27.

The facility manufactures steel through a world-class process route comprising a blast furnace – energy optimising furnace (EOF) – Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF) – endless casting, using virgin iron ore and coke as primary raw materials. The plant is also equipped with state-of-the-art Endless Casting and Rolling (ECR) technology. The Kurnool plant is expected to significantly contribute to the region's industrial growth, aiming to boost Jai Raj Steel's annual revenue to a minimum of ₹5,000 crore within two years of operation.
